Dr Navneet Bhullar, MD
APAAR FounderNavneet Bhullar is a US-trained global health doctor who practised hospital medicine in the United States for 21 years until she turned to social justice work in medicine and beyond. She has led and participated in medical projects with MSF in five countries including inside Sierra Leone during the deadly 2014 Ebola epidemic. Navneet has also co-founded AGAPP in Jalandhar, India ( Action Group Against Plastic Pollution). Dr Bhullar serves on the Board of Advisors for Creshendo, a US- based international nonprofit which equips displaced populations to lead, heal, and shape the systems around them. She is a writer and poet who has been published extensively in literary journals. Her essay on her brother Triman Singh, the inspiration behind APAAR's launch, is linked here. Her brother Rana has been an APAARite since the start. Taranjit loves cooking and gardening. She, with her wise mother Amarjeet Kaur, has rallied numerous relatives to fund APAAR's cause.
